How Does it Work?

PeasThe CACC Seed Library loans seeds on a seasonal basis. You may become a library member at any time of the year.
Here’s a typical season for us:

  • February-May: The seed library is open on selected days for members to stop by and pick up seeds.
  • May-September: The library member grows seeds out.
  • September-October: The library member harvests great food and saves seeds according to the best practices for each varietal. The library member keeps some of the seeds they save, and returns some to the library for other members to check out.
